About Bristol Co-Op

TEACH Bristol Co-op meets on Thursday in a Church located near Tennessee High School in Bristol, Tennessee.

Each semester will offer 12-14 classes across a 14-week to 16-week period. One week of classes will not meet for a scheduled fall or spring break.

Most TEACH Bristol Co-op classes are taught by parent volunteers who are home educators with students participating in TEACH Bristol Co-op. Leadership strives for a variety of core classes and electives and will work with teachers to provide a diversified class schedule. The class subjects offered are determined by the volunteers based on their interest and abilities with the guidance of co-op leadership.

We encourage all parents to volunteer to teach a co-op class, but teaching is not required.. All parents are expected to remain on campus and volunteer. There are plenty of volunteer opportunities beyond teaching.

Families participating in Bristol Co-op with students in grades kindergarten to eighth grade enrolled in elementary or middle school classes are required to attend a minimum of two hours.

Families with a student in eighth to twelfth grade enrolling in a high school class may attend  for a single class.
