TEACH high school classes

We know that finding quality highschool classes for an affordable price can be quite the struggle. Some students just do better under an outside teacher in the teen years. All benefit from interaction with their peers as they learn. Additional benefits of completing classes at co-op are access to equipment or experiences not easily obtained at home such as use of high-quality microscopes and other scientific equipment.

While all academic classes are taught by volunteer parents, they have committed to finishing an approved/recognized homeschool curriculum such as Apologia, Abeka, Notgrass, etc.*. Academic classes have at home assignments and require approximately 1 hour of study per day including class time during co-op sessions for a one credit class. Assessment in the form of tests or projects are provided and graded by the teacher. Teachers use google classroom or a detailed syllabus to provide assignments and report grades regularly to parents.

TEACH is committed to helping our members get their students the quality classes they need at a price that won’t break the bank. Since we encourage our teachers to teach from their passions, we can not guarantee that we will always offer certain classes, but we do have a good mix of academic and enrichment classes each semester.
